Hello I'm katie a Visual arts graduate
I create papercuts and doodles, though my output is known to be sporadic>
If you want to ask anything email me Katiecutspaper @ googlemail.com
Trying to have a vaguely productive lunch break at work.
(This is in my diary)
I’m not dead I’m just rotting in retail hell but inbetween working & crying over going to work I did a quick drawing of Yayoi Kusama. So er enjoy.
This week I temporarily hung up my scalpel to try embroidery, for a first attempt I’m pretty damn pleased
You may recognise Uggie from ‘The Artist’ , like pretty much everybody else I’ve fallen for his canine charms.
I now have a proper website!
www.katiecutspaper.com
I’m going to keep this blog and my non art one as well as now having a Blogger account
Despite the fact I am the slowest artist ever my stuff keeps getting liked and reblogged so thank you very much.
Just sent an email about a website! my website! :D
which is exciting and a little daunting, I never realised how little I know about webdesign till just now.
Arriba!
This really needs scaning in but that requires patience I don’t have right now
Downside of spray painting stuff is that sometimes it sticks to the backing paper and rips :(
Upside is you get a nice finish and cool negative prints

and if you were wondering how you keep the paper flat to paint them in wind, you use whatever you have to hand
